About House of Hex

Welcome home, Witches!

House of Hex = Hexenhaus /ˈhæksen/ [haːu̯z̥]

The name House of Hex is a combination of the german word for Witch House and the English word hex. I wanted to combine both of my homes, America and Switzerland, and their languages.

House of Hex offers an enchanting blend of bewitching, spooky, and Halloween allure. Drawing inspiration from folklore, nature, classic horror, and the timeless spirit of Halloween, my products are meticulously crafted to infuse your home and personal style with a sense of cozy sophistication—with a dash of witchy charm.

The face behind House of Hex

Hi, my name is Aline (Ah-lee-n). I am the face behind House of Hex. Originally from Switzerland, I pursued my passion for art through a degree in graphic design. Alongside my husband, we now live in Austin, TX, accompanied by our two beloved black cats, Salem and Binx.

From a young age, my aspiration has been to own a Victorian-style witch house, serving as the inspiration behind the inception of House of Hex. Drawing and painting have been lifelong passions, ingrained in me from the earliest of memories.

Art and Victorian architecture have always ignited my passions, and now I'm thrilled to blend them together.

It all started at my grandma's kitchen table, where she introduced me to the world of painting. And now, here we are, making magic happen!
